How It Works (PSA Technology)
The DS-500 uses Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology to remove moisture from compressed air.
Moisture is adsorbed by molecular sieve desiccants inside the adsorption towers. The system operates with two towers alternating between:
- Adsorption Phase – drying compressed air
- Regeneration Phase – removing moisture from the desiccant
During regeneration, a portion of dry air expands to atmospheric pressure, becoming even drier and extracting moisture from the saturated desiccant.
This continuous dual-tower cycle ensures a stable supply of dry air without the need for external heating.
