Overview
The DS-200 adsorption air dryer is designed to remove moisture from compressed air systems using advanced pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology. It provides a stable and continuous supply of dry air with a dew point as low as −40°C, ensuring reliable performance in precision and industrial environments.
Its compact dual-tower structure makes it ideal for integration into laboratory equipment, automation systems, and OEM machinery where space and air quality are critical.

Installation Requirements
Proper installation is essential to ensure optimal performance and long-term reliability of the desiccant air dryer.
– Install the unit in a dry and well-ventilated indoor environment.
– Avoid exposure to high temperatures, direct sunlight, or corrosive conditions.
– Place the unit on a stable and level surface or mount securely inside equipment.
– Ensure the inlet air temperature does not exceed 30°C for optimal drying performance.
– Connect to the correct power supply (220V AC) and ensure proper grounding.
– Install a pre-filter upstream to remove oil, water, and particles before the dryer.
– Check all air connections for leaks before operation.
– Allow sufficient space around the unit for maintenance and heat dissipation.
– The system typically reaches a stable dew point after a short startup period.
Applications
The DS-200 is suitable for applications requiring clean and dry compressed air:
– Laboratory instruments and analytical equipment
– Automation and control equipment
– Medical and dental equipment
– Precision manufacturing and electronics
– Laser cutting and optical devices
Typical compressed air system configuration
Air Compressor → Pre-filter → Refrigerated Air Dryer → Desiccant Air Dryer(this product) → Fine Filter → End Application

The DS-200 is the desiccant drying stage in the example above. Select upstream filtration and any pre-drying equipment to suit the inlet air conditions. For a higher rated flow, compare the 500 NL/min DS-500 heatless desiccant dryer.
Why Use a Desiccant Air Dryer?
Moisture in compressed air can cause serious issues in industrial systems, including corrosion, equipment damage, and reduced product quality.
In applications requiring high air purity, standard refrigerated air dryers are often not sufficient. A desiccant air dryer is required to achieve ultra-low dew points and ensure reliable system performance.
The DS-200 is designed to provide a stable dew point of ≤ −40°C, making it suitable for precision applications where dry air is critical.
How It Works (PSA Technology)
The DS-200 uses Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology to remove moisture from compressed air.
Moisture is adsorbed by molecular sieve desiccants inside the adsorption towers. The system operates with two towers alternating between:
- Adsorption Phase – drying compressed air
- Regeneration Phase – removing moisture from the desiccant
During regeneration, a portion of dry air expands to atmospheric pressure, becoming even drier and extracting moisture from the saturated desiccant.
This continuous dual-tower cycle ensures a stable supply of dry air without the need for external heating.
